A wee bit about the 128.
We meet in Williamwood Church in Clarkston, which is on the South Side of Glasgow. The Church was built in 1937, and the BB Company has been an active part of the work of the Church in this area.
We aim to provide a safe environment to allow the boys to grow and develop into young men, the opportunity to learn, to experience activities that they may not get through school or within their homes. To become the leaders of tomorrow. |
The Object of The Boys' Brigade is as relevant today as it was when it was first written;
“The advancement of Christ’s Kingdom among boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness.” |
| The Anchor is the crest of The Boys’ Brigade with the words ‘Sure and Stedfast’ enscribed on it. These words were taken from Hebrews, 6:19; “Hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast.” |
|
“It’s great…
to be in the 1-2-8!” |
